I started buying here in 2023, when the leather first convinced me. Hearing the store is closing pushed me to take the Brown Leather Set - Vela in the color I had been watching. It is as well made as the first.

I am sorry Cordelle is closing. I have ordered every year since 2024 and this feels like the same workshop. Soft leather, even stitching, a bag you keep.

Customer since 2023. I hate that this is a farewell, and I am glad I got one more. The shape is clean. It runs a little smaller than my 2024 bag, which is fine for a day out.

I have told friends about Cordelle since 2024. I am sad the atelier is closing. The Brown Leather Set - Vela came wrapped carefully and the hardware feels solid. I will wear it for years, which is the point.

My mother has carried a Cordelle since 2023. I bought her this one when I read they are closing. She wrote me the night it arrived. That is the whole review.

The leather
The leather is chosen for its grain and its hand. It softens as you carry it and keeps its structure where the bag needs it.
Made to look better with time.
The finish
Seams run even from end to end, the edges are sealed and the metal hardware is solid in the hand.
Built to be carried every day.
The inside
A lined interior keeps your phone, cards and keys where you left them, so you are not searching at the door.
Room for what the day asks.
